How to create Bybit API keys

1. Step 1

   Open the Profile Menu & select API

   Click the profile avatar in the top-right corner to open the account menu, then click API to proceed to the API settings page.

   
2. Step 2

   Create a New Key & choose System-generated

   Click Create New Key in the top-right corner of the API Management page. In the pop-up window, select System-generated API Keys.

   
3. Step 3

   Configure API Key Settings

   Select API Transaction and enter a name for your API key (for example, your bot name). Set the required permissions, and if you restrict by IP choose "Only IPs with permissions…" and enter the IP address provided on the bot's website.

4. Step 4

   Enable Required Permissions

   Under the permissions section, enable the permissions your bot needs, then click Submit to create your API key.

   
5. Step 5

   Complete Security Verification

   Enter the verification code sent to your email, then enter your Google 2FA code. After filling in both codes, click Next Step to confirm.

   
6. Step 6

   Copy Your API Key and Secret

   Once the key is successfully created, copy your API Key and API Secret immediately.

   
7. Step 7

   Add Your API to the Bot

   Go to Accounts in the left menu and click + Add Account. Select Bybit as the exchange, paste your API Key and Secret Key, and click Create Account to complete the connection.
